The storm hadn’t stopped all night. Rain streaked across the glass, black sky reflected in every surface of his office. Dante hadn’t moved for hours. The city below still pulsed, but everything inside him was still. The message from Ross glowed on his phone: Carter’s meeting him tonight. Rinaldi’s name came up. It’s a trap.
