Infiltration

Lexa's POV:
I had tracked down every rouge in the state trying to get information on how to infiltrate the Dark Blood pack. Finally a rouge named Nitro had given me a worthwhile piece of information.
He told me one of the pack members frequented a bar in a town not far from where I found him. I planned to confront the pack member before they reached the bar.
So here I sit and wait, not far off the trail. It wasn't hard to find their normal route. It seems they travel the same one everytime and it reeks of them.
I see a wolf coming up the trail, it's white wolf with touches of gray in it's fur and purple eyes, it slows as in nears my position. She is a female, only female white wolves can have purple eyes. Walking out of the bushes, in wolf form, I face off with the white wolf.
She lowers her head and growls at me. I snarl back at her. Then she lunges. I jump to the side then nip her hind quarters as she flys past. She spins around then lunges again. Again I jump out of the way but this time I bite onto her scruff as she's going past then I shake her violently then throw her to the ground placing my paw on her throat. She thrashers for a minute until she realizes that she can't get away and then submits.
I let her up and she looks at me then she shifts back into her human form and I follow suit.
She has a leaner build looking like she has missed a few meals with tanned looking skin, but I don't think it's actually tanned, with stark white hair and eyebrows. Her eyes are still purple, yet another trait of the white wolf gene.
"What do you want?" she asks looking a bit weary
"I want a place in your pack." I state
"Excuse me?"
"You heard me. A place in your pack."
"Why the hell would you want to be in my pack no one wants in my pack only out." she says looking bewildered
grinning wickedly I say "I heard it was the most blood thirsty pack around."
She looks me up and down wearily
"....ok..." looking back up at me she says
"I can setup a meeting with the bata but that's all I can do..." crossing her arms
"..meet me here in two days time."
"will do" I say as she turns, shifts and takes off.
Ash's POV:
The Council had been though going over all of the packs finances and records. It had taken 2 days for them to approve them and continue to the next task in my review. They interviewed all the pack members to see how the interworkings of the pack were running, once satisfied they everything was running perfectly in my pack they were ready to move on to my physical tests.
All my pack members, and all the visiting wolf, were gathered around the training field.
I stood just out of sight in the tree line getting ready to head to my biggest set of challenges yet. The Alpha Gauntlet.
The Alpha Gauntlet is devised of 3 challenges, all fights, the first is to test my hand to hand combat skills. The second is a fight in wolf form. The third is a hunt then a fight to the death. The council always picks a rival Alpha for the fight to the death. This is how they keep the number of packs from getting to large. It is one of my least favorite traditions.
Pushing off the tree I was leaning against and head to my first challenge.
Lexa's POV:
I was back at the spot where I met the white wolf waiting for her to arrive, I didn't have to wait long.
"The bata agreed to meet you at Chase's in an hour."
smiling I thank her as she turns to leave
"What's your name?" I ask while she is still in sight
"Kara, and your making a big mistake." she says just before she is out of ear shot.
I get the feeling that she is going to be a big asset to me once I infiltrate the pack but first I had to convince Jeff I was Worthy.
Kara's Pov
Once I was out of sight and werewolf earshot I shifted and followed the mysterious stranger to the bar. I don't know why she wants to be apart of our pack but I'm curious to why. she gets to the bar about 30 minutes before the meeting is to take place. It wasn't easy to get Jeff to meet her, he hates outsiders, but I hope she will some how convince him to let her in. I think she will be the key to my escape and my survival.
