UNEXPECTED

I stood frozen; my eyes widened in disbelief, as his words pierced my heart like a spear. Tears burst out of my eyes and streamed down my face in a cascade of grief as I untangled his hand from my body.

I thought my sorrows were over, not knowing it was just the beginning of more sorrows. “ I can just stay without being your mate; I could just keep our secret; why punish me this way, Alpha?” I mumbled.

“Za, my words are final; you do as I said. I hope we are clear on this? ” he asked me, “yes, Alpha,” I answered, as I didn't want to provoke him.

“It almost time for dinner” he remembered me as we both walked to the dining table, the dining table was very long it contained 50 varieties of a meal, the table was dressed with a luxurious white tablecloth, and there's was a crystal sculpture of a wolf on the middle of the table with a luxurious golden ornate candle holder with burning candles round the table.

The dining table was filled with many things that got me thinking if we were organizing a dinner feast at night in the castle.

I had different varieties of meals I had never eaten before. Since I was going to leave the castle tomorrow, I decided to eat my sorrow away. I continued eating as I knew I would not eat like this again. I ate to the extent I started to throw up.

“ Take her away,” Alpha Roman growled at Tessy. That was the last thing I heard before I slept off.

“Wake up.. wake up… wake up ma'am” Kate tapped my body. Immediately I opened my eyes, the warm sunlight directly across my face through the window, gently coaxing me awake. I blinked severally, my eyelids were heavy with the remnants of sleep.

My gaze was blurry at first, but as I sat up, the room began to take shape. I rubbed my eyes gently as they itched, and then I yawned while trying to stretch my arms above my head.

As I stood up, I felt a slight dizziness, but it passed quickly. I took a deep breath, as I felt the cool morning air fill my lungs. The world outside my window was already alive, with birds chirping and the distant hum of chattering.

I smiled, feeling the morning's promise of new beginnings. “Ma'am, the Alpha asked me to bathe you and prepare for you as you are about to embark on your training,” Kate mumbled.

The bath was finally over; immediately I came out of the bathroom to the living room with my body wrapped with a fluffy towel, only to see Alpha Roman glancing at me like he just saw a demigod.

His eyes burned with zeal as he gazed at me. The air around us seemed to close in with tension, the silence between us was unsettling. Without a word, he reached out to hug me and gently grabbed my chin, his fingers wrapping around my jaw like a gentle vice.

My heart skipped a beat as he raised my face to meet his. I felt a shiver running down my spine as our eyes locked, the moment pulsed with anticipation. Roman's gaze was unwavering, his eyes blazed with a fierce inner fire that melted my soul.

And then, in a movement that was both gentle and possessive, he leaned on me and brushed his lips against mine. The kiss was soft and exploratory, a tender probing of my mouth that sent shivers down my spine. I felt myself melting into the kiss, my lips parting to allow Roman's tongue to tease me.

As we kissed, the world around us seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of us, lost in a vortex of desires. Roman's arms wrapped around me, pulling me close as he deepened the kiss. I felt myself getting lost in the sensation. My heart raced fast, as I felt like the world was coming to an end.

Finally, he let go of my lips as he turned his back in shame, and he started to sob. “I am sorry for what just happened, I wasn't myself.” He said his voice echoing loud in my ears.

Deep down, I enjoyed every bit of the kiss, as it was my first kiss, “his lips were so soft and succulent,” I muttered.

“Get ready; along the way, I will get you new clothes, shoes and a bag that you will need over there”, he said as he made his way to the door.

“Gosh, this dude is f*****g hot,” I said with my voice barely above a whisper. I turned and noticed Miss Kate was watching the whole scene that just happened.
