Two days passed and Riley heard nothing from the Harrisons. Strange, because she hadn’t expected them to forget her so quickly. Dumb maybe, but a huge part of her expected Sebastian’s car to pull up out of nowhere while she walked alongside the road or simply stepped out of Britney’s place to pick up the milk. Her eyes were always searching, always hoping for those accustomed penetrating eyes to find her wherever she was and never look away.
