With the way her stomach kept twisting into knots with every second, she wasn’t even surprised that her eyes darted back to the man sitting on the chair behind a huge wooden table. He wore a crisp dark grey suit, a dark blue tie that seemed to have a gold thread running down it in vertical strips, and a matching dark blue pocket square that she was pretty sure had the same pattern as his tie. The room had a very earthy feeling to it, with dark wood-paneled walls, the bookshelves were made from the same material.
