Riley stared at Sebastian and that woman through the window as she and Chloe sat at the same table where they had come to have lunch. In the past few months, there had been many occasions when she wondered about the woman Sebastian had married, the woman who gave birth to Chloe and then left, never to be heard or seen again, at least not around the little girl. She had thought whatever it was between this woman and Sebastian was done with, but apparently, something still needed to be addressed.
