Syria’s POV “Where are you taking me, Kael?” I asked while he was dragging me away. “You’ll see,” he whispered sexily against my ear. “Just trust me on this.” My eyes were covered with a soft blindfold, and I had no clue where we were going. All I could do was hold onto his arm as he carefully guided me forward. My steps were slow, cautious, like I might trip any second. The sound of our shoes against the floor echoed, and I could feel my heart beating harder every step I take. We finally stopped. I heard him take a breath behind me. “Alright,” he placed his hand on my shoulder, “You may open your eyes now.” I paused briefly before lifting the blindfold off my eyes.
