Long Journey

New Life/New Friends

Today was Thomas's first day of his new school and he was pretty nervous. I think he was more scared of what the other kids might think of him and if they were going to do the same thing the other kids at his old school did. When Thomas got dropped off by his Aunt, he just stopped to look around until some kid came up to him. The kids name was Isabella and she said that she also came to this school for the first time today. It looks like Thomas has made a friend already and they were going to have a lot of fun together. When class started the teacher, Ms.Amelia introduced Thomas to the whole class and everyone was nice and didn't say anything mean to him. He could already tell that he liked this school already and that he would make a lot more friends than he ever had. When it was time for break/lunch everyone from his class wanted to be friends with him because apparently they thought he was cool. He was so glad that his day started off better than he expected. When he got home he told Aunt Mary everything that happened today and she was shocked. She had so much pressure in her chest because she thought he wasn't going to like the school and that he was going to be the only person who had no one to hang out with. She had all these thoughts on her head for nothing at all because Thomas seems like the happiest kid right now. The next day was even better because it was a very special day,it was Thomas's birthday and he was celebrating it at school with his new friends he made the other day . He was so happy to be spending the day with his friend s and he was even allowed to invite some friends to his house for a sleepover and movie night. They had so much fun together and they did all the things they had planned for that day.
