CHAPTER 4 Sitting back in his desk chair, Mario Ziegler ran the conversation with the daughter over in his mind. He had the uncomfortable feeling of having overlooked something. Like a subliminal question irritatingly obvious but unasked. Suddenly, he got an idea. He told Sonia, Kruger's secretary, he'd be back later and drove out to Madden's private golf club. A rambling, impressive place, befitting his social status in the community. The club manager wasn't available, but he asked the teaching professional to drive him to the spot in a golf cart where the accident had taken place.
