Clio tried to ignore the growing and throbbing pain on her palm from the diagonal wound cut. Soon enough, she knew that the pain would subside because her palm would go numb and would feel nothing. That’s what she learned from all the struggles in her life. If you endure the pain, the pain would soon go away and you would feel numb then.
