Eric Chaos. That's the only word to describe the scene unfolding before me. The pristine white decorations, meticulously arranged for what should have been my crowning moment, were now splattered with crimson. The air, once filled with the sweet scent of flowers and anticipation, now reeked of copper and fear. And at the center of it all was Briar, convulsing in my arms, her white dress rapidly turning red. "Someone get a doctor!" I roared again, my composure slipping as panic clawed at my chest. This wasn't supposed to happen. This wasn't part of the plan.
