3. Someone so adorable

Eva's POV

I was observing the person carefully, I felt like I had seen these adorable eyes somewhere and when I gave more stress to my brain, I realised, these were the same blue glittering eyes of the head doctor whom I was assisting in the OT earlier this day.

The superintendent introduced him as Dr. Simon Williamson. He further added he belonged from the Moon Knight pack. He referred him as head of pack doctors, who had come here to train us. He further thanked Dr. Simon for the extraordinary service, he had shown today in the hospital. He added because of Dr. Simon's effort today many complicated operations were done with ease and that gave moral support to many other doctors. I guess somewhere more or less everyone agreed with this.

Everyone was very happy and welcomed the words of the Superintendent by clapping their hands. It was a wonderful moment.

While everyone was welcoming him with a smiling face, I was too busy observing each feature properly.

He was like a male model and he was adored by the fairer s*x for his Teutonic-gold hair. It was a casual jumble sometimes but mostly neat and flowing. His crescent-of-moon eyebrows were thin and narrow. He carried an imperious nose well and his angular cheekbones carved down towards a flinty jaw. Unusually for a doctor like him, he had a manly, Samson physique.

His mariner-blue eyes were orb around and darted constantly, a-gleam with delight and the vigour of youth. They were soft, Irish eyes and swam with joy. They shone brightly as two sapphires dipped in milky pools.

Everyone was commenting on his vivacious character and his gentle nature. When the superintendent requested him to deliver a few words, first he introduced himself and his voice was foghorn loud but was symphonious to hear. It was something heartwarming.

Then he started his speech with the very first sentence "If we exert ourselves with determination, no obstacle can stop our progress." Something which caught everyone's attention.

Further, he added, “The ability to save someone's life often lies in the hands of a doctor and thus, as a result, it is considered one of the noblest professions in the world. For any doctor, to save the life of a patient from the sure hand of death is the biggest gift possible. For patients, a doctor is synonymous with God. In many cases, to save a life of a patient, the love and the care of a doctor are enough. I want you all to have such an attitude and willingness to become successful pack doctors. We as werewolves are fighters and we all can do anything to save our pack as every one of us are committed to our pack. But at the same time, we should always think about how to train ourselves in such a way we are prepared for every situation and deal with it.

Lastly, I want to add, we are all lucky that we are doctors as we have the power to save then to kill.” He ended his speech and everyone was applauding and clapping for him.

Everyone was highly motivated by his words and was impressed. After his speech superintendent asked all the pack doctors to give their introduction so that Dr. Simon could have an idea of all of us. So one by one all the PG pack doctors started to give their introduction.

As soon as doctors were giving their introduction, he was nodding and greetings them with a smiling face. This gesture of him was enough for any one of us to fall for him.

Slowly my turn was coming and my heartbeat was reaching heights. There was sweat all around my face and my palms were getting wet. Although I was extremely nervous around him but I couldn't show him the same as I couldn't degrade my impression on the first day itself.

When my turn came, I was about to get up from my chair but almost everyone in the hall heard a tearing sound and I turned back and found my top got stuck in a part of the chair and it tore.

I felt like crying but I controlled myself and introduced myself as Eva Rosewood. PG pack doctor. While I was introducing myself his blue eyes were constantly on me. And after I gave my introduction, neither he nodded his head nor smiled nor said anything, rather he was constantly staring at me. It felt he was trying hard to remember something by starring at me.

It was an embarrassing moment as everyone's attention was on me and him. The balls of their eyes were showing pendulum motion as it was moving from my position to Dr. Simon's position.

Almost around 2 or 3 minutes later, it felt like he had recognised me and there was a complete and unexplainable smile on his face. He nodded his head and gestured me to sit.

After me, a few more doctors introduced themselves, but in between, I felt a constant stare at me by those blue eyes. He was not leaving any chances to have a glance of me and seriously he was doing that shamelessly. But this gesture of him was not understood by me and it ended when the superintendent called him for some discussion.

“I guess someone is falling for you, Eva,” Trish said while trying to suppress her laughter.

“Why you are saying so, Trish? I am not able to understand” I said although I know why she was saying those words but I needed to behave like I didn't know anything.

“I guess you are making yourself as well as me fool. Dr.Simon was constantly looking at you and I know you too noticed that. Now, will you try to elaborate on why he is staring at you in that way? Whatever I know about you, there must be a reason behind it” Trish said with a whisper so that no one will be able to hear our conversation.

“Trish please not now, I will explain everything after this meeting. I wanted to tell you everything but you were busy with your work so I didn't get time to explain anything.” I said holding her shoulder.

After some time, all the doctor's introduction session with Dr. Simon was over. And superintendent asked us if we all want to any query we can clear it.

Out of nowhere, Dr. Ellen stood by started to ask her useless questions only to get attention from him.

“Dr. Simon, we came to know that you will train us so is there anyone special whom you want to train personally ?” Dr. Ellen said trying hard to speak as sultry way as possible.

“I can't say that, everyone is equal for me and I am here to train everyone so that you all can be successful pack doctors. So giving anyone any special preference is not working for me” It was clear that Dr. Simon was not interested in answering her yet he answered all her questions politely.

“ That's so sweet of you doctor. So lastly can I call you Simon as I like your name? So can I?” Ellen said trying to seduce him.

“ Miss, I will more appreciate it if you call me Dr. Simon, as it defines my profession and I love my profession more than anything. So I guess you get my answer”. Dr. Simon said in an irritated tone.

Superintendent said “any more queries doctor.” He was well aware Simon was irritated with these questions.

Everyone as a whole said no queries and with that, our meeting ended and everyone started to go back to do their assigned work. As both my and Trish's shift ended so we waited, so that everyone could leave for their work and then we came out at last from our place. At that time the superintendent along with Dr Simon and other head doctors were also coming out of the auditorium, I looked at Dr.Simon and here he was again staring at me. We had an eye lock and we both smiled.We were in that position for some time. Suddenly the interrupter Miss Trish, interrupted us, I broke the eye lock and I came out of the auditorium, looking at him one last time. The aura of Jasmine again disappeared when I along with Trish came out from there.

As we came out of the auditorium, she stopped me at one corner and she folded her hand, her expression was enough to make me understand what she wanted.

I told everything about me and Dr. Simon how we met today, how I felt about those blue eyes and how l felt connected with him and we started moving towards our common room.

As we were moving towards the common room, I stucked with a hard surface and I was about to fall when some strong pairs of hands held me by my waist and prevented me from falling. Everything happened so quickly that I hardly had time to respond and automatically my eyes closed. At that time, I was wondering how could a hard surface like a pillar or wall had hands.

Slowly and slowly I opened my eyes and I was shocked because of the condition I was in at that time. Moreover I understand how that hard surface got hands.
