Sifones lay north of Apeiranthos and was relatively accessible by road, whereas the church of Panagia Chrysopigi was much more difficult to reach and further from the Di Quercia Tower. In Sotiris’s position, Day would choose Sifones. He refolded the map meticulously and threw it on the passenger seat. He drove through Agkidia, Halki and Moni, heading north.
