Ice
I entered the room. Demon was sitting on the bed with Ally in his arms as she cried and cried.
“She won’t let me go,” he mumbled. He looked miserable. I think Tally hanging up on him, hit him hard.
I walked to him and I took Ally. She glommed onto me and I felt relieved she wasn’t pushing me away.
I watched Demon stand and pull out his phone as he left the room.
I then sat on the bed and closed my eyes as I held my girl while she cried.
She kept whispering ‘so dirty’ and I squeezed her in my embrace.
“Ally, you are not dirty. Do you hear me? You are not dirty. I took you for a medical check-up. You’re clean. I can show you the email.”
She sobbed hard at that. I closed my eyes and kissed her head. I held her until she calmed down. She gave little hiccups and I smiled,
