“You look perfect, sugarplum. I couldn't be luckier.” Luciano said and I felt my cheeks get warm and l lowered my gaze to hide it but he took a hold of my jaw and forced me to look at him.
Without a word, he kissed me again and we walked out of the house towards his car. There were five other cars outside too and I became confused, he seemed to notice.
“For safety.” He mumbled, I swallowed hard and nodded my head.
He opened my door and I thanked him as I took a seat. He went around the front of the car and sat in the driver's seat. With a smooth turn, we were out of my gate and on the road. My stomach was literally bursting with butterflies and I felt his hand on my thigh, stroking it tenderly. It calmed my nerves a little bit.
