He shifted back to his human form when he felt Leigh was halfway back to the pack, he was keeping track of his Pumpkin to make sure she was doing as she was told. It did at least feel as though she was double timing it. Though he knew Jara wasn’t giving it her all, not even close to it. That little wolf was fast when she wanted to be.
But she was as stubborn as his own beast was, she had a bear’s mentality. That one didn’t like being told what to do either. It was curious to him that they weren’t marked, considering that he’d just heard that her bear needs had kicked in, and this Alpha had felt it, they'd clearly had to have mated because of it.
