He stood in that Royal suite and stared at the four very large chests that were actually his. He hadn’t seen them in over a hundred years. Recalled the day his mother and father gave them to him for safe keeping; when the war started back inside the Bear Kingdom. They had told him to take them and hide them away from the world, deep inside the bear realms mountain range somewhere that only he would know.
They had told him they were for him to give to his Mate when he found her, to be the dowry to gift to her to show her she was welcomed by the King and Queen of Bears. He also knew that all of his siblings had been given Bear treasures to hide for safe keeping for their own Mates. Also to be hidden and only retrieved after the war ended.
They were safe-guarding the Royal Bear jewels
