😊 Tyler's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with possibilities. He showed the message to Emily, his voice low. "What do you think this is?" Emily's brow furrowed, concern etched on her face. "I don't know, but it sounds like a trap." Tyler's instincts screamed caution, but his curiosity got the better of him. "I need to go, see what's going on." Emily's grip on his hand tightened. "No, Tyler, don't go alone. It's not safe." Tyler hesitated, weighing his options. He didn't want to put Emily in harm's way, but he needed answers. As they stood there, the city lights twinkling around them, Tyler made a decision. "I'll go, but you stay here. I'll text you when it's safe." Emily's eyes flashed with determination. "No way, I'm coming with you." Tyler's phone buzzed again, the message brief. "Midnight. Alone." Tyler's gut twisted. Whoever was playing this game was serious 😊 Tyler's eyes locked on Emily's, a mix of determination and worry swirling in them. "I'll go, but you stay here. I'll text you when it's safe." Emily's face set in a stubborn expression. "No way, I'm coming with you." Tyler's voice turned firm. "Emily, this could be dangerous. I need you safe." The argument was cut short as Tyler's phone buzzed again. "Midnight. Alone. Don't bother coming if you're not alone." Tyler's jaw cliked. Whoever was playing this game was serious. He turned to Emily, his voice softer. "I'll go. You wait here. If I don't text you by 1 AM, call the police." Emily's eyes welled up, but she nodded, her voice barely above a whisper. "Be careful, Tyler." Tyler kissed her forehead, his heart pounding in his chest. "I will." As he walked away, the city shadows seemed to close in. He felt like he was walking into a trap. At midnight, Tyler arrived at the old warehouse. The doors creaked open, a figure stepping out of the darkness. It was Sophia. Her smile was icy. "Welcome, Tyler. I've been waiting." Tyler's gut twisted. What was Sophia playing at? 😊 Tyler's eyes narrowed, his voice cold. "Sophia, what do you want?" Sophia's smile grew wider. "I want to talk about Emily." Tyler's grip on his phone tightened. "What about her?" Sophia stepped closer, her voice dripping with malice. "I want to tell you the truth about her. About your precious Emily." Tyler's heart skipped a beat. "What truth?" Sophia's eyes sparkled with triumph. "That she's not who you think she is. That she's been playing you all along." Tyler's mind reeled. "What are you talking about?" Sophia pulled out a phone and played a video. Tyler's eyes widened as he watched Emily, in a conversation with a shady-looking guy, talking about "taking care of" Tyler's family business. Tyler's gut twisted. Was this real? Was Emily playing him? Sophia's voice was sweet. "You see, Tyler, Emily's not the angel you think she is. She's been using you to get to your family's wealth." Tyler's world spun. He didn't know what to believe. 😊 Tyler's eyes were glued to the phone, his mind racing. He replayed the video in his head, searching for any signs of manipulation. But the more he watched, the more it seemed real. Sophia's voice cut through his thoughts. "You see, Tyler, I knew about Emily's plan all along. I tried to warn you, but you wouldn't listen." Tyler's anger flared, directed at Sophia. "Why should I believe you? You're just trying to sabotage me and Emily." Sophia's smile was infuriatingly calm. "I'm telling you the truth, Tyler. And I have proof." She handed him a folder filled with documents and photos. Tyler's eyes scanned the contents, his heart sinking with each page. It seemed Emily had a shady past, connections to people Tyler's family had business rivalries with. The evidence was damning. Tyler's phone buzzed, a message from Emily. "Hey, how's it going?" He felt a wave of nausea. Was she checking up on him, or was she genuinely worried? Sophia's voice was like a snake's hiss. "You have a choice, Tyler. Believe the lies, or believe the truth."
