Diana woke up again. This time, she was able to open her eyes and move her fingers. Despite feeling out of sorts, she was glad she was free from the clutches of that ‘dark matter’ inside her.
She immediately called for her wolf. ‘Teshin?’
A soft whimper answered her call.
Diana heaved a short sigh of relief. The corners of her lips tugged up.
Looking around, Diana’s eyes wandered. This was when she noticed how she was not alone in the room! She was so engrossed with Teshin’s safety to the point that she muted her senses.
Her pupils dilated for a fraction of a moment when she saw who was sitting next to the table beside her bed!
“Talia? Why are you here?”
