Story 2 - New House

He rented a red convertible. "I know you always wished to…he didn’t bother to complete his sentence seeing me awestruck by the sultry beauty of the whole moment."I wonder who you really are. I don’t know how "I allowed myself inside after he opened the side of my door by himself."Don’t bother. I knew you're gonna love it." We drove to somewhere a little bit farther than the regular ones. He too wanted to have a break from his daily work and for me also it was a good chance to forget that incident and recollect myself. It was the weekend and around 9 o'clock. A bright sun was out there after a long night rain. It's like that calm rush we get when we are out of first gear and cruising smoothly on a traffic-free highway. As we sped through the teeming traffic on that gloriously sunny day, I stood to feel the wind on my face. Then I loosened my scarf and unbundled my hair and set it free as I could feel myself talking to it. My hair flung back through the direction of the wind and pulled my head to tilt back closing my eyes. In this ride called life, I freed myself and stretched my arms up and out, I felt the wind disheveling my hair, running in between and past through my fingers. It was the sort of thing that happens in life rarely and becomes a feeling, unlike any others. I felt freedom in the confinement of love. "Chris…I love you, "I screamed. I was thinking about my life. How perfect it seems in a moment and a complete mess in the other. He holds my hand and took me inside this small house which seemed very beautifully architect in an artistic way from outside. -How about moving in here after a couple of weeks? –he asked. Did you like it Scarlet? I looked around for a while. It seemed like the house was perfectly designed and built only for us. -It's really beautiful Mr. Christopher. –I said. Look at this view of the ocean from the balcony. -Yeah, I know you'll like it. –he hugged me from behind while I was still staring at the sea. I think it would be a good idea to start anew. No more past but only future. –he said. I hold my tears into my eyes and never let them fall. As soon as he starts talking to the seller of the house I wiped them. I don’t want him to see the tears of my gory past. From then on, we started living together. There comes a time in our lives when we must look inside to find out what keeps us going and what holds us back. I guess sometimes there's so much light inside that we are blinded by it in outside. Everything seems perfect and it feels like our soul's been everywhere. And then the whole universe assimilates inside us like the whole past, present and future is oblivious. For then, our ceaselessness creates a new mind which creates a new world living inside our head. -I know what you're thinking. –he said. -What else can I think except you, Mr. Christopher? –I said. All my life I was lost until I found you. Before I met you what my eyes saw what my mind believed. But now what my heart believes what my eyes see. -From the beginning, I loved the way you are. –he said. Do you love me too Scarlet as the way I'm? -I guessed he didn’t need my answer. He already knew it from my smile. "How…but how did you manage all these, "I asked getting more curious about all these happenings and in such a short time. I was waiting for his answer looking him on his face. But he just smiled. For that moment, his smile seemed miraculously fixed and hiding something panics behind it. He never wanted me to care about all these heavy expenses and how he managed it. But I insisted, at least, for this time. "Okay…Okay…calm down Scarlet! I'll tell you –tell everything about where all these monies are coming from so fast. He told me that it was some sort of fixed deposits which he saved from his previous works. And now he emptied it for me. "So you mean…we're bankrupt now." We both laughed like a drain. "Precisely…yes, "I've got nothing left." "You've got me, "I said resting my hands around his neck. I always wanted to kiss somebody on my own –raising myself to his height on my toes. He welcomed it enthusiastically. I saw him smiling and his eyes getting much brighter and resplendent. "It really was breathtaking, "he admitted later. "Multiple tombs lay hidden in Egypt's Valley of the Kings, where royalty was buried more than 3,000 years ago, and awaiting discovery" –the title of that article in a magazine caught my eye when I was flipping through it. There were piles of books, newspapers, and magazines lying messily in the corner of that room. I never had guessed him as some sort of avid reader, but I realized I was completely wrong. "So you do write," I said when he embraced me from behind. I was carrying a piece of paper among the jumble of mess in which he was trying to write something but left incompletely. "Sometime…yes," he said. "Sometime…when I feel like to put all my thoughts in a paper and empty my mind." His writing reminded me of someone from my past. I already have seen much change of seasons in my life. Throughout my life, I kept myself unaware of freedom of soul. Now I realize for believing dreams to come true I've to free my soul and feel the wind of change. My choice of being a prostitute has a different story of freedom which transcends normal human misery. I think now I've to tell him my story which is a question of mind over matter. I was kept pretty busy with my dancing classes. He often comes to pick me after work. Sometimes when he's late I keep dancing to the same tune from the first night I was at his place. -This music remembers me of her. –he saw me dancing which I didn’t notice until he spoke. -Today I want you to dance with me remembering all your good memories of the back. –I said and pulled him to the dancing floor. Today I want to remember my good memories of my past too,' –I kept it inside my head and never said to him. I don’t know why I did it. -Oh Scarlet, how could I forget her. –he looked me in my eyes and we were dancing. She was the best thing that ever happened in my life. Umm…and you're the best thing that is happening in my life. We stopped talking for a while and just danced forgetting who we were and who we are. I felt as though we were married, or maybe more than married –meant to be one since the beginning of the creation of this universe –maybe he was the creator of my universe chosen by destiny. I felt as though we should get married in real –I wanted everyone to know about us –and to make it so we could not lose ourselves and remain bounded by that sacred vow until death comes to break it. "I love you; I said without blinking my eyes and kissed him like I haven’t kissed him before. He hugged me as quickly and as tightly as he could. "I love you too, "he said in a quick breathe."We should get married now; I said unexpectedly forcing more life in those words through my eyes. "What? Seriously? –he gazed in awe towards me. We should…Maybe in the coming days, 'he said earnestly. We left the scene and let our fate fill in the blanks.
