Chapter Fifteen
"Yes!" Lucy exclaimed, unable to contain her excitement and ultimately doing a little dance within the confinement of her seat when the professor handed back her pre-calculus exam. It had taken him forever to grade it—a whole week; Lucy had been counting. And now as she stared down at the 98% marked at the top of her paper, she realized that everything she had done in preparation had been worth it.
