Chapter 3; The Knap Before starting work for Atticus the next morning, Oric rose early to explore the area around his new home. He borrowed a horse from his tiger friend and watched the sun rise in east and over the town, from the river estuary where it met the Cerise sea. The brilliant dawn sky was pink with blue breaking through underneath, and finally orange where it met the horizon. Turning back to the horse he noticed hooded figures in the distance. It seemed they were just watching him for a while from their own steeds, as his mounted his they casually turned and cantered away. The sabretooth next headed to the pine forests west of the town, but he couldn’t help but feel he was still being spied upon. Following a path through woods he comes to a waterfall near a quick flowing brook.
