Who ever thought they would spend their weekend being chased by cops and gangsters; no one. Here i am running for my dear life with my dear friend trying to figure out what went wrong......

It all started on Friday the night before Saturday,i was busy telling Becky how great our weekend was going to be as i made dinner. Mom walked towards me with a small smile that meant a lot of things
1). Grandma is dead so we'll spend the weekend at the hospital.
2). Grandma fell down and broke her back (again) so I'm gonna have to grannysit.
3). Something business related came up so grandma would be babysitting.
Whatever it was i hoped it was number 1 so I could still go watch a movie. I hung up the phone to listen to what Mom had to say; usually starting with her apology speech.
"I'm sorry this happened, you know i would never ruin your weekend end but for the sake of my job you would have to go over to grandma's for the weekend end" She'll let out a dramatic sigh look down and flash me a hurtful look just to get me to cave in. Sadly all i do is scream 'noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo' hoping someone, somewhere in the universe will come to my aid.
"It's okay it's not like i was looking forward to the weekend anyways. I'm sure Becky would love to know we would be at Haven spot hanging out with the elderlies" I said giving her a tight lip smile, If she buys my words then I'll know the universe hates me. I've planned my weekend to the core, I've saved up enough to get me into DYNAMIC; why now?
"Thank you so much for understanding. For your troubles I'll get you something on my way back" A coffin might help, it's like she's mocking me. She pulls me into a hug , ruffling my hair as she went to sit at the dining table.
"I'm sure you'll love Haven spot. You might even get a great weekend end, Mom isn't so bad" yeah she's mocking me. All grandma do is sleep and pinch my cheek till it swells. Staring at the lid of the pot i decided that I'll get my amazing weekend even if it means sneaking out.

"WHAT!!!"Becky screamed into my ear drums. "This is not fair, we planned everything to the core. We even saved enough for DYNAMIC;the sweetest place ever. Just wait till i give them a piece of my mind" Becky was as sweet as they come but when she looses it she's on a whole other level.
"I've thought of a way to still have an amazing weekend..... We'll sneak out and come back to South lake, once we're done we go back to grandma" I explained. I was feeling smart right now;I did make a fool proof plan right?
"You deserve a smack on the head Ty. Have you forgotten that your grandma doesn't have a car or that it's a four hour drive not to talk about walking." She was right but still never say never; nothing is impossible. We could get an Uber but then our cash won't be enough for DYNAMIC.
"Well Beck we're doomed, guess we'll just have to spend the weekend with grandma. It's not like anything interesting happens with old people" I wondered. Becky hummed as i let out a yawn "well good night then, we'll see what tomorrow brings" I said disconnecting the call before falling into a deep trance, my mind wondering if we would have the best weekend ever;we only live once.

Morning came early and quite frankly I'm not ready for today. How can Mom not see how bummed i am? Is she ignoring it so she could have a nice weekend all by herself?
My bag's were already packed when I woke up this morning; I'm sure it was Mom. As i ate breakfast I watched as she kept smiling on the phone.
"Of course Tyahnah is excited about spending her weekend with you Mom" lies. I'm starting to wonder if all adults lie to their kids. I kept giving her sign that I wasn't happy with the arrangements.
"Sure. Bye Mom" She placed the phone down to look at me. "Mom is really excited that you are going to spend the weekend with her. She's even making you a banana crust pie"I feel like screaming and running out of the house. She smiles as the doorbell rings; Becky.
" Mrs Reed this is not fair, you know how long we've been waiting for our special weekend but no you had to make a deal with elderly Reed to spoil our weekend "Becky yelled. It seemed she prepared what she had to say for a long time.
" Good morning to you too Becky. Now I know you have all right to be angry right now but I can't leave you kids unsupervised "Mom said handing Becky a plate of toast. We won't be unsupervised the whole world would be watching us have fun.
" With all due respect Mrs Reed we're 17; we're not kids. Haven't you ever had a great weekend? "Becky said looking at my mom as she tried to sit on the stool. I knew she was making a point but she was being rude to my Mom and I didn't like it.
"My Mom doesn't need to answer your questions. Let's just go "I said walking out of the house. Sometimes Becky did things I didn't like. Two minutes later the car door opened as Becky slid into the seat.
" I know you're mad and before you make a fuss I'm sorry. It's just that you need to stand up for yourself, you're letting people walk over you"she explained as i gave her a look. I know she's right but not now; especially when am pissed. Mom got into the driver's seat and started driving, I closed my eye shut wishing my weekend would come to an end.
