They arrived at a secluded underground garage. Alexander guided her to a sleek, unmarked car, its black surface mirroring the city lights. As he opened the door, she felt a moment of hesitation.
“This is it?” she asked. “We’re going… somewhere else?”
The car sped into the night, weaving through streets she barely recognized. Every turn, every shadowed alley amplified the adrenaline that pulsed through her veins. For the first time, Aria felt the full weight of what she had agreed to—what she had willingly stepped into.
“Alexander…” she began, voice low. “What if I can’t handle it?”
