He leaned back in the chair, his eyes never leaving her face, and waited for her to wake up. Lisa woke up grudgingly She didn't know how long she slept, but when she woke up, the room was dark, and the only sound was the soft hum of the air conditioning. As she slowly sat up, she realized that her stomach didn't hurt as much as it had before. She looked around the room, trying to remember what had happened earlier. That's when she saw Lugard sitting in the armchair, watching her. "How long have you been there?" Lisa asked, her voice still husky from sleep. "Long enough," Lugard replied, his eyes never leaving hers. Lisa felt a shiver run down her spine as she realized he had been watching her sleep. She didn't know what to make of it, but she tried to brush it off. "Why are you here?
