I was having my first Bernardi Corp. Board of Director’s meeting and by the look that Victor was giving me from where he sat, at the far head of the conference table, I didn’t know if he wanted to kill me or f**k me. I could imagine when he woke up today, he would never have thought his day would end up like this, to have his soon-to-be ex-wife as head of his corporate empire. Though I knew that Victor would fight tooth and nail before he gave up ownership of his company and with his army of lawyers, establishing outright ownership of Bernardi Corp. would most likely be futile given that it would be tied up in the courts for years.
