I had just poured my heart out to Isabella, vowing to love her forever, wanting to be her husband again, if she would have me, but as I waited on bended knee for her answer, she uttered the last words I feared, “I can’t”.
Before I could ask for an explanation, she was running back to the castle in tears. What was this? I had so many questions. I didn’t just conjure up the feelings between me and Bella.
