I had successfully made my way to the Diamonds Club and had located the devil who was holding my husband captive for the last three days. As I stood in front of Nicolai and one of his guards now, I was trying my very best to tempt my rage and to keep from shooting him in the head prematurely before I had gotten what I wanted. The fact that this monster was smirking at me as I had my gun aimed at both him and his guard was only proving to weaken my resolve.
I angrily spat out as I glared at him, “What the f**k are you smiling about?”
Nicolai gave off an even wider smile before winking and saying, “You baby. I’m smiling at you.”
