For two weeks we only pass each other... she must be damn tired. I gently open the door of her room: I just want to take a look to make sure she’s okay. I hold my breath stupidly when I enter and walk on tiptoes to the bed where I find her still in her restaurant uniform, which makes me shake my head. Gently, trying not to wake her, I grab a piece of the duvet and pull the edge to her chin. Without realizing it, I found myself watching her sleep. I suddenly have a dry mouth; hers is slightly open, and the steady breath that escapes strangely slows the beating of my heart. I spot a bit of hair threatening to come down on her lips and I grasp it between my thumb and forefinger placing it behind her ear. Concentrating, I tilt my face towards hers, so much so that I almost kiss her cheek. I
