Jake hopped out of the elevator, the receptionist greeted him.
"Sir?"
"Anything?" He wasn't in the mood to smile with anyone.
"You have a visitor waiting for you in the office" she retorted, glancing downwards.
"How many times have I told you not to let any visitor into my office when I'm not around?" He half yelled, that was when Karen got to know that he had arrived, instead of getting up from where she was lying, she tried to pretend that she was still sleeping.
"I'm sorry sir" she muttered, he didn't even listen to what she said as he dips his hand into his pocket, whilst walking into his office.
He scoured his eyes around for the visitor that was waiting for him and tried looking back to ask the lady who was waiting for him when he saw the bag containing groceries items, h
