"Are you okay?" Karen's mom, Esther asked as they walked out of the store.
"Of course I am, do I look like I am not?" She asked and signalled to the driver that they were done, he drove to their side and they hopped in.
"You don't look ok, your face is pale" she said to her.
"I don't think so" she caress her cheeks and smiled until they got back to the house.
They wouldn't stop chatting until the got inside, she was walking to turn on the lights when she noticed that her mom was no longer standing behind her.
