" We should let her go now" Kylie whispered into my ears.
" No, not until I hear Jake's voice from outside. She might call him to tell on us that we're pranking him" I countered and that was the fact.
" How about we do this, let's hide her in our room?" She suggested while raising her eyebrows for my opinion towards her suggestion.
" Let's do that" I agreed and we led her to our room.
" Kylie! Kendall!!"
"Jake is here" We ran out of the room unknown to us that we've forgotten to lock the door.
Just as we were running down the stairs, my leg slipped in between making me roll from the 5th stairs to the last space.
" Kendall!" Kylie cried out and rushed towards me, I felt nothing but pain.
We lied to our dad that I got injured it was my plan and now it happened for real. This is why it's not good to claim something that didn't happen.
" Ohhhh…" I cried out but tears didn't even come near my eyes.
" What's going on here?" Jake's husky voice filled the whole living room as he moves to the stairs.
" Kendall rolled down from there!" She pointed at the stairs as confusion shows up in his face.
" Your Nanny should have done something or at least carry you from here, where the heck is she???" he yelled not knowing that we're the wicked one here.
" Dad the thing is.." I glared at Kylie who was about to speak up.
Before she could continue, he helped me up and carried me to his room. I shut my eyes because I'm sure Kylie will tell him anytime from now.
" Sir" My heart began to race on seeing our Nanny.
" Where were you?" He asks after dropping his phone by my side.
" We're sorry" As if we've practiced this, I and Kylie chorused in unison even though I was feeling slight pain from my left leg.
" For?" He asked, furrowing his eyebrows as I made some unnecessary expressions.
" For everything we've done badly and the things we did that didn't please you, we promise to change and not bother you again!"

" Until when will you stop behaving like a kid?" I half yelled even though I didn't want to but with everything going on right now, they still choose not to understand.
" Sir, Can I have a conversation with you?" Their Nanny said to me and followed me to my study.
" Did their tutor come over today?" I ask after throwing my jacket on the hanger.
" Yes, but she left early saying she has some business to tend to, I'm not going to come to work from tomorrow" She knew that I'll not give her the chance to say what she wants if she didn't say it together with an answer.
" Why? I'm sorry for what they had you going through. Their mom is nowhere to be found now and I won't be around every time" It was unlike me to plead or explain myself like this.
" Not because of the kids, I'll be living with my first daughter from now on" she explained.
" You're allowed to go, I'll send your payment by evening" I said and walk her out, my phone beeped as I walked back into my study and I opened the message hastily with the thought that it might be a lead to where Anita was.
And of course, it was a lead, a shocking lead My mouth was wide agape when I opened the video sent to me.
At first, I thought she was being raped not until I hear her moaning his name! "F*CK me harder Damien!!…I want more!" I couldn't force myself to watch anymore as I smash the phone against the wall. I just hope the kids don't hear me crying.
I hate myself for loving her, she was someone that never fits in my category. I can even count the number of times she let me sleep with her, I rarely see her naked view. That doesn't suit me at all.
Tears threatened to fall but I tried my best to hold it in but it was obvious that my heart was shattering into pieces, Anita should at least think about the twin.
I've given up on her already, but she shouldn't give up on the kids.
I rushed out of my study and walked to the twin room to get their phone, she might send the kids something that will make them question me and I don't think I'm ready for that.
"Dad" They both gasp as they saw me and the mood was suspicious.
" Can I have your phones?" I asked, sniffling in the snorts trying to fall.
" You can take Kendall's own but I can't give you mine" I took a deep breath as I wasn't ready to yell at them.
" Are you crazy?" I shouted on top of my lungs as the room still echoes my voice and I regretted immediately, she handed the phone to me and I walked outside.
Dialing her number for the fifth time, she's not even picking her daughter's call. She picked up after few minutes.
"Do you think I wouldn't know you're the one?"
"Even if you're fed up with me, why not consider our daughter's…" she cuts me off rudely.
"Our Daughter's?" She let out a loud chuckle.
"They're your daughter's and not mine" she scoffed.
"What do you mean by that?" I asks in a shaky tone.
"It's as you just heard, don't ask me" she ended the call and left me to wander.
"She was only saying that out of anger right?" I tried to console myself but it's just not working.
What do I tell Kendall and Kylie? How the heck will I face them to say something so absurd?
I sat on the floor thinking of what next, if I should put her thoughts to heart I'm pretty sure my business will clash.
She went of her own will and I don't hope to see her ever again. I'll take care of the kids and never let them have the feeling that their mother is no longer around.
What am I even saying, they don't care about her a bit as she never has time for them when she was still around.
" Kendall, Kylie" I called out to them and I could hear them coming from the stairs.
" Is your leg okay now?" I ask with a frail smile curving on the edges of my lips.
" Yes, it went back to where it came from?" They both giggled at the joke which I found not funny.
" How about we go on a date? I'll take you all around" I suggested whilst raising my eyebrows for their response but their face speaks otherwise.
"You don't like the idea?" I was kind of shocked as this wasn't what I expected.
" We love it" They both shouted making me laugh also.
"We'll come back in just five minutes" They flashed past me and I made my way to my room also.
" Here we go" I turned to see my beautiful twin walking elegantly towards me, their chic style is very okay.
" Great sense of fashion" I complimented and they grabbed my hands.
I hope this night and the time we will spend together take their mom's memory from my heart.

I tiptoed as I made my way to my studio apartment hoping the landlord's daughter isn't here to check their tenants… my phone holder slipped to the floor and I crouched slowly to pick it up.
" The breeze here is bad" I raised my head to see the landlord, his wife, and his daughter sitting right in front of my room. I quickly hid before they could discover me as I regretted promising to pay today.
I'll just stay low till they leave as I can't bear to face them right now…. "Karen you're b…" I made a sign to my highschool neighbor who seems not to know that I was hiding.
"Is someone there?" The landlord's wife Hailey asked almost coming closer as I could hear her footsteps.
" No, I was just going to my room" He lied and winked before walking away.
" I don't think that b***h will come home today?" Their rude daughter muttered as I clench my fist to vent my anger to myself.
" Then we'll wait till she comes, I'm not moving an inch from here"
