"Hmm, before I forget, I have something to tell you also" Jake rasped, patting her hair as they hugged each other tightly with the duvet covering their body.
"What's that?" Karen nudge her head into his chest.
"I'm leaving for San Francisco tommorow morning, as early as possible" he compressed his lips after saying it.
"For?" Karen quizzes, wanting to know more.
"For you" he teases.
"For work of course"
"It's fine, when will you be back?" That was the only important thing at the moment.
"It's a week trip but I'll definitely not stay up to that" he retorted.
"I'll miss you" she shut her eyes tightly, eager to hear his response.
"Don't kid me, you can't miss me the way I'll miss you, let's sleep before it gets too late" he hummed, pulled her up and rested his head on her ches
