It was not uncommon to see his mother in the news, or hear people gossiping about his strange family, but his normal was not normal. His father sat across from him, as blank-faced as always, regardless of the fact his mother’s face was all over the headlines again. They said she was having another affair and did not understand why Jeriah’s father refused to divorce her. His father never responded to the ill comments or did anything to change his mother’s ways.
