~~~~~Trinity~~~~~   “So, I saw the pictures of you and Jeriah. You two are so cute!” Thomas squealed in excitement, his expression showing relief. “I’m so glad you two are dating. I didn’t know you were into a couple’s social media page.” “A what?” Trinity asked with a confused look. “What are you talking about?” “A couple’s social media page.” He replied, tilting his head in confusion as well. “Didn’t you create it?” As he asked, he pulled out his phone and tapped the screen twice before pulling up a social media profile with a photo of her and Jeriah together. A scroll through the page showed frequent updates from Jeriah, talking about how beautiful she looked, even though she actually looked annoyed in most of the photos. A small smile lifted the corners of her lips at his adorableness before she sighed. Clearly, the pair needed to discuss this, though she did not mind it much. She often wanted to scream from the rooftops that she loved him. Thomas leaned forward with a raised eyebrow, a smile on his lips. “So, he didn’t tell you. Look, anyone in love is gorgeous.” Thomas continued, lifting a coffee cup to his lips. “But you being unable to write is a conundrum. Do you think it has something to do with your relationship with Jeriah?” “Maybe? I don’t really know.” She sighed, sinking into the leather booth of the café the two were at. “It’s definitely a big change since he spends so much time at my house.” The fact Jeriah spent so much time at her house did not really bother her, since they both led busy lives. She even gave him a key a while back so he could let himself in. Since they were in such a mature relationship, she did not think it was a problem. She glanced around the quiet café with a wary expression, remembering what happened last time she went out. Paparazzi were good at finding people who did not want to be found. Sure, she was in disguise, but that did not mean there were not people out there who could recognize her. Jeriah had, after all. It was how he blackmailed her into their relationship. As soon as the thought occurred to her, her eyes widened, and Trinity looked at the table between herself and Thomas. Was he just playing around with her and still had the video? Because of their s****l compatibility? But no, Jeriah often told her he loved her. Unease filled her chest as these thoughts circled in her mind and she rose a hand to her temple. What was the truth? She did not know, but it had been so long since she faced an issue like this, she did not know how to handle it either. Was it normal to have these kinds of issues as someone famous? Or in a normal relationship? “You look like you’re overthinking something, honey.” Thomas said with a chuckle. “Penny for your thoughts?” “Well, you knew about the blackmail, right?” Trinity asked, lifting her coffee cup to her lips. “I’m worried about that.” “Then ask Jeriah about it.” He replied, shrugging as he tapped the table with two fingers. “That’s what you do when you have a problem in a relationship. You talk it out.” Was it? She sighed before giving him a nod, her thoughts returning to her boyfriend. Surely he would understand her asking, especially since they never actually discussed the blackmail after their relationship started. Trinity did not want that to hover over their heads, so she guessed she had no choice but to confront him about it. Even if it made him angry, she did not feel they could continue their relationship with it still up in the air. Especially if it caused problems for her. Trust made by asking questions such as these would make their relationship stronger, she thought. “Besides that, has the change in scenery helped your writer’s block any?” Thomas asked carefully, his expression turning serious. “The CEO already thinks it’s a bad idea for you to be involved with Jeriah Coster. If he finds out about your block, he’ll be even more against your relationship.” She knew. Everyone at the office was aware of the CEO’s distrust of Jeriah. It could definitely negatively affect her image and make things harder for Thomas, since he was doing so much to convince everyone how good Jeriah was for her. The world seemed to have mixed opinions about her relationship as well, though it was not surprising. Most thought he was only kidding around, or that she was. No one seemed to see them as being serious about each other, which only increased her unease. Maybe she was the only one serious, and Jeriah was not. Trinity shook herself from her thoughts and looked around the café. It was less of a café and more of an eatery that Thomas often took her to when she needed to break out of writer’s block, and she loved it. Unfortunately, it was not working this time. The mature atmosphere mixed with light jazz and comfort food did nothing to inspire her creativity, and she sighed with a shake of her head. No, neither the soft whites of the walls, nor the solid wood of the floors were helping fight off her block. The brown leather armchairs in place of stools were not helping either, despite how comfortable they were. She sighed again and took out her phone. “I even came up with a lot of story ideas when I was working with Jeriah on the movie, but rereading those did nothing to help.” Trinity replied, showing her phone with the open notes on it to him. “They’re all great ideas, but I don’t know what I was thinking when I wrote them, so I can’t work them up into a story.” “Just keep trying. Maybe try some writing exercises or take part in a small contest under a pseudonym.” He said with a gentle smile, his hand reaching out to pat hers where it rested on the table. “Otherwise, don’t strain yourself. We still have about three of your books to publish over the coming months, so you’re fine for now. I’ll keep this between you and me.”   ~~~~~   A few hours later, Trinity sat at home, her fingers hovering over the keys of her keyboard again. She could think of millions of words and phrases to use to write a story, but none of them felt right for the point she was at in her life now. If she tried to put to paper the story she and Jeriah had, she felt it would not describe all she felt concerning him. From the frustration to the pure passion she felt during s*x with him. The love and care. It was a bliss she never got to experience with her ex-husband. The all-encompassing love most could only dream of. And it was then she realized her thoughts derailed. Trinity shook her head, doing her best to focus on writing. What story did she want her fans to read? As soon as the question entered her mind, a name came to her head. One she knew she wanted to use for a story. With that, so to came the details of that character’s life. Every step they made came to life before her eyes and she lost herself in her world, starting from the very first chapter. It was a story she would read if she were the reader. Trinity finally broke from her thoughts when she realized the room was darker than what she expected. “A vision of pure beauty.” A voice startled her, and she turned to find Jeriah nursing a glass of whiskey with a smirk on his face. “When you are in the zone, you’re so sexy.” “How long have you been there?” Trinity asked with shock in her voice. “Oh, let me get dinner started.” “A few hours, but never mind that or dinner. I wanted to watch you, so I ordered us something from my favorite chef. Sorry, you really were a vision. I couldn’t help but want to watch your serious face.” Jeriah sighed, before coming to a stand to offer her his hand. “I hope you don’t mind lobster and venison for dinner paired with fresh greens and potatoes. Though I already feasted on the sight of you in those shorts.” Trinity sighed, both a little pleased and embarrassed by his praise, but sent him an icy glare. She picked these clothes, black yoga shorts and a loose tee shirt, because of her exercise regime, but clearly, he enjoyed it. No one ever fell over themselves in such a manner to treat her with such romance before, and she did not know how to respond to it. Even though she knew Jeriah would see through her expression, she still pulled it because she hoped it would work this time. He could always see through it, from the very beginning. Instead of saying a word, his eyes filled her vision before a loving warmth pressed to her lips. Her heart swayed with love and she sighed in pleasure before he pulled back to look deep into her eyes with unwavering passion. “It’s hard to be annoyed with you when you kiss me like that…” she said, pulling back to gulp in some air. “But I don’t need that kind of romance.” “Trinity, let me, as your man, determine the romance you need.” He replied, plucking her full lips with his. “Because your expression says you’re loving every second of this, my Rosebud.” His voice tapering off at the end made her shiver involuntarily, and he smirked, a dimple forming in his cheek. Jeriah knew he had her, and Trinity licked her lips, her green eyes falling to that perfect dimple in his perfect cheek. How was she able to depict the perfect man for many in a book of anyone other than her ideal? Through her hazy thoughts from his words, kisses, and the romance, that thought broke her concentration just as Jeriah traced around her lips with his tongue and pulled back again. His blissful expression begged her to tease him, but she bit back her original reply in favor of smiling coyly up at him. “Why Rosebud?” She questioned, sure she already knew the answer. “Because I’m beautiful?” “No. Rosebud because just when I think you’re already beautiful, you re-bloom again and I fall in love all over.” His response surpassed her expectations and her eyes widened as her heart pounded in her chest hard. “I will probably love you even more tomorrow because of something you do tonight that takes my breath away.” “Putting it on there a little thick, right?” Trinity said, looking away, her cheeks flooding with heat. “It’s embarrassing.” The feverish feel of his fingers through her clothes almost made her moan when he pressed his hands to the small of her back, leading her towards the dining room. Years ago, she received attention like this when she met her exes, but they never treated her this amazing. There was no way he was not as serious about their relationship as she was. It was in every action he took, and that was part of what made her fall for him. The level with which he handled everything in a mature and professional manner, even in his personal relationships. The thoughts which plagued her earlier no longer bothered her the way it had. And she leaned into his side, more than happy to exist in this quiet moment between them. His fingers tensed before she felt the heat of them press into her bare flesh under her shirt. “Jeriah, I haven’t eaten since lunch and it’s pretty late, already.” She sighed with an air of disappointment. “As much as I would love to…” She found her hands pinned to the wall in the hallway without a care and glanced over her shoulder at a Jeriah with his gray slacks around his muscular thighs. His fingers were already working a condom on, making her sigh because she knew she lost. It was her reason for writer’s block, she realized, letting out a gasp of pleasure which took her thoughts with it. His form hovered closer over her back and she moaned when he rocked forward, his lips and tongue tracing over her shoulder and neck. Another reason she fell so hard for him. Jeriah was very passionate, his emotions in his touch, lips, and eyes, and that expressed just how much he loved her. How much he desired her. His hands traced the outline of her figure from under her arms to her hips, where he pulled her against him. The repetitive motions of his hands warmed her flesh more and made her feel especially sensitive under his attack. It was the first time she ever had someone take her without removing her clothes and so sexy she could feel her body spasming over his. She had never felt so wanted in her entire life, and she knew then that Jeriah loved her as much as she did him. There was no use in worrying him over something so trivial. She grabbed the hand at her hip and bit her lip as another o****m took her breath away. Trinity was confident enough in her own ability to stay with and keep him.
