A few hours later, the results were out but I wasn't in class because I went to the toilet after eating at the cafeteria, seems their food is upsetting my stomach and I can't wait for it to let out of my system, on getting to my class, my English teacher smiled and the whole class became silent as if a president just walked in,

"Grace you have surprised me today and I must say that I'm very pleased with your results right here in my hands, but I'm still confused"

she said, "why are you confused, ma'am?" I asked with a smile.

"You made it clear before we started this test that you aren't prepared because you didn't read even when I instructed you all to and now you passed every question in your test booklet, how is this possible?"

she asked

I smiled on hearing this and when I turned around to look at my classmates, the look on their faces was hilarious and some of the boys who mocked me before the test tried their best to avoid eye contact with me,

"well like I said before, I didn't read for this test but after seeing the questions, I started visualizing how you taught the various topics in class and that is how I was able to ace all the questions without lifting a bone"

I said.

"That's f*****g amazing, wish I had such abilities"

a boy said and I turned to see who it was and behold, it was Miles Williams.

"This is shocking and interesting at the same time, you scored the highest in today's test and I must give you a reward for this, I'm sorry I hurt your feelings before the test"

she apologized,

"It's nothing to worry about, can't wait to show this result to my parents"

I said and took my test result from her hand and went straight to my seat. My teacher left the class a few minutes later and that was when all hell broke loose as everyone wanted to talk to me at the same time this somehow led to a fight but it was resolved soon enough,

"Grace please can you teach me some topics that I don't understand, please"

a boy begged while kneeling on his knees, I felt a little bit uncomfortable by this because he is making me look like a Queen.

"Guys please I'm not the best, I only have a retentive memory and that's all, nothing special about me"

I said after walking to the front of the class,

"We want that kind of retentive memory but it's not possible so you should help us by explaining some of the topics we don't understand in English"

another boy said, I barely know their names because they are just too plenty and I haven't even made many friends in this school. The school closing bell rang and we all came out of the class but these people aren't willing to let me go.

Miles came towards me and held my hands tight while staring into my eyes, I was not sure what she intends to do but I'm indeed very surprised by the way he held me so tight,

"Can you walk home with me, let's take a stroll home today"

he said,

"I'm coming, let me address these students," I said.

"I will teach you all the topics you find difficult in your English language but that will be in any free period that comes up tomorrow," I said.

They all felt happy with what I said and some of them even hugged me while the boys gave me some kisses on the cheek and this made me smile a little.

"Hey Grace, I'm Drake Wells, can I be your friend?" a guy asked as i and Miles made our way to the school exit,

"Alright then, nice meeting you drake," I said with a smile.

We waved to each other and we went our separate ways but Miles held me tight like I was his girlfriend,

"Guess I was wrong about you, I never knew you were super intelligent to the core"

he said

"it's just the way I was born and maybe it's my special gift" I replied.

"Perhaps we should visit the cinema and watch a movie before going home" he suggested

my heart skipped a bit when he mentioned that word and I became a little bit nervous,

"But we are just coming back from school, won't your parents be worried if you don't get home on time, it's already 2:30 PM and I think your parents expect you to be back home by 3:30 PM or less," I said

He burst into laughter after I openly displayed my worries,

"you don't need to worry about them, I will take of that later but now we need to watch a movie"

he said and pulled me like his kid brother, he ordered an Uber ride and it came in less than eight minutes.

"Hope you know what you are doing Miles?" I asked

and he simply smiled while giving the Uber driver the address of the place he is taking me to

The driver drove for twenty minutes before arriving at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, I stared at the building with doubt in my mind because I don't want to end in trouble,

"come let's go in, I will take off all the bills," he said

and when we walked, he bought some popcorn, juice, and other items before we went to the cinema to watch the Spider-man series. I enjoyed myself a bit and I ate a lot of popcorn while watching the show with Miles, we forgot how time flew until I picked up my phone and noticed that the time is already 6 PM.

"Is anything the problem?" he asked

while chewing his popcorn without any worries,

"It's 6 PM, my parents will be looking for me at school now when they noticed that I haven't arrived home," I said with a troubled heart
