Caspian's Pov Her lips were still on mine, soft and trembling, and I wanted to drown there forever. To keep her pressed against me, to keep the world outside locked away. But soon, reality clawed its way back. The curse. The cure. The unanswered questions that kept gnawing at me. She must have sensed my unease because she pulled away, her eyes searched mine and I could see guilt swimming there. My heart ached for her.
