Caspian's Pov
Around me, my warriors lifted their heads and howled, one after another. Their voices rose like a storm, filling the battlefield with raw power and loyalty.
“Caspian”, my wolf whispered inside me, his voice deep and wild. “They see us. They follow us. Lead them. We're one again.”
I stood tall, my beast form towering over the others. My claws were sharper than steel, my fur dark as night, my eyes glowing blood-red.
And across from me, I saw it.
Zade’s golden eyes widened. For the first time, there was fear in them.
He shifted back into his wolf form instantly, his paws digging into the ground as he backed away slowly. His warriors closed around him protectively, forming a barrier.
But I could smell his fear. I could taste it.
