COUNCIL EDGAR'S POV
I quickly put on my robe, my fingers fumbling with the papers in front of me. My breathing was uneven, proof of the rage I felt inside.
"How dare she insult our realm!" I threw the papers on the floor. This was more than an insult to the whole wolf realm, this was an act of war.
A sudden knock came on the door, followed by the squeaky voice of my terrified assistant.
"The council members are here sir"
"That's good. Tell them I'm coming"
I took a few minutes to comport myself, they should not see how much this.....news has affected me. I adjusted my velvet blue robe once more and walked into the council meeting room with as much grace and composure any leader, who had his head shoved in the mud could muster.
