"Maybe you can come back again then, if you enjoy it. My uncle has offered me a job here. The wage is good, and it would really help him out."
"You'll get paid for chasing chickens all day?" That had to be the best job ever!
"Not exactly," Blake said, but he shrugged. "But I'm sure it will be quite fun. Best part? It means you get to come and see the animals any time you like."
Old and rustic looking, the farmhouse that we ended up coming to a stop in front of, a gravelled yard way that was decorated with pretty black fencing and flowerpots, was a clash between rural and modern.
