ASHLEY'S POV The throb in my head was the first thing I felt the minute I woke up. I blinked my eyes slowly, blocking my sight from the brightness of the light. Even in silence, the room felt too loud. My eyes scanned the room quietly, and I realized I wasn't in my room. Soft grey sheets were spread all over the bed. The city skyline was visible through the massive glass window. Everything smelled like him. Like Michael. But this place looks different from his penthouse. “Good. You're awake.” Gosh. His voice scared the hell out of me. I turned to see him walking towards me with a glass of water and two pills in my hands. He looked calm but happy? Not at all. “Where am I?” I asked, my voice croaky. “One of my houses, this one seems to be the closest to the club you were last night,”
