“Hey man, is everything alright? You don't
sound good.” jayden said through the phone.
I sighed and replied, “I don't know what or how to feel, man. I thought I got it all figured out. Besides, did you know Kate was in town?
I was shocked when I got a text from her, she wasn't looking good when I saw her.”
“You met with her? Why? I mean…When?” Jayden asked, with a voice laced with curiosity.
“We met tonight. She reached out to me asking to see. So I decided to give her a chance to explain herself.”
