As the red bands were walking out Megoon turned and looked at the old man, “where’s your bathroom at?” The old bartender says, “my name is George, thank you for your help, I owe you big time!” “Nice to meet you George, no problem, the bathroom.. is..?” “oh,” George stammered, “the bathroom is right around the corner.” Pointing towards the back dark corner with a hallway just beyond booth seat and back wall. “Thank you, she said as she made her way to the bathroom.” She looks out the bathroom window and sees Spike turn around and walk back inside the front door of the saloon, watching the ‘money bag guy’ drop the bags in a small chest just big enough to fit in the bed of the truck. “Nows my chance she thought to herself.” She quickly opens the window and climbs out, sneakily walks behind the red bands standing in front of the saloon, smoking a cigarette and impatiently waiting for Spike to come back out. She slipped by without being seen lifted up the lid of the chest and grabbed her small sack of gold. One of the red band guards says, “what’s Spike doing? Spike!”
As all three of the guards look towards the saloon impatiently waiting for their Sgt. Megoon slips back through the window, quietly shuts it and quickly walks to the bathroom door as she hides her green pouch in her boot. Just as she stepped out of the bathroom Spike was waiting for her. “Yes?” She asked with her eyebrow raised. “I was thinking you and I could go out sometime”, Spike asked. “You know what, I’d love to, but I’m a little busy right now. Maybe another time?” Megoon asked. Spike turned around feeling slightly defeated, blushing and not sure why he even tried. While spike was opening the door to go out side, he caught a small child in the back of his truck snatching one of the money bags out of the chest. The kid started running, hopping out of the truck, making a break for the alley just across the street.
Spike took off in a full sprint. With the commotion outside the marines and patrons in the bar walked to the window to see what’s going on. Megoon, thought to herself, “he is pretty fast.” She walked outside the door to the saloon, to see Spike carrying the small child back into the middle of the street from the alley. Spike jumped onto the back of the truck bed with the kid under his arm, wiggling and shouting, “let me go!” Spike walks up to the chest, kicks it open, and notices the green bag is gone. “Where is it you little s**t!” Spike yelled. The boys mother started screaming hysterically from just outside the alleyway, “No Jonathan, my boy!” Spike yelled interrupting the boys Mom, “If you don’t tell me where the bag is right now, your mother dies!” Two men grabbed the woman and dropped her to her knees in the street. “You already took the bag from me you stupid i***t!” The boy yelled. Spike punched him in the stomach, knocking the wind out of him. “You have till the count of 3 to tell me where the other bag is, or your mother dies,” Spike said calmly this time. 1, 2.. “Spike!” yelled Megoon frantically. “I have more coins, give me a chance to go get them real quick.” “You have more”, whispered Spike in confusion. “Have mercy on the boy, I’ll have him work for me here in the shop to earn the money he stole.” Jonathan looked at her with a confused expression followed by a look of disgust. “I’m not working for you crazy lady!” Jonathan yelled as Megoon dashed off to get the “extra coins”.
Spike threw the boy off the truck as he pulled out his sword pointing it to the mom’s neck. Last chance, to tell me where the bag is! I don’t have it! Johnathan said. Spike began dropping his sharp two edge sword to cut off the moms head just as Megoon pulled out her bow and shoots an arrow piercing Spikes forearm, causing him lose his grip. His sword went flying out of his hand just passed the poor moms face slicing a shallow piece of her trap muscle just above her shoulder making her scream! Megoon did a side roll towards the back of the truck pulling out two more arrows. She draws back her bow and fires two well placed arrows right into the chest of the two guards. Jonathan scrambles to his mom asking frantically, mom are you ok? I’m fine boy, let’s get out of here, she said as she grabbed the boys hand to run towards the orchard. Spike still screaming and looking around to see
who shot the arrow.
He pulls out a flare gun, firing a bright red flare into the setting sun light. Everyone in the town starts screaming and panicking trying to run indoors as soldiers came walking out of the bar with swords in hand. Surrounding Megoon, “sir, she’s over here!” The soldiers said to Spike. Megoon circles to the middle of the street. “Get her!” Spike screamed. Being surrounded by guards with bows and swords she ran up to the guards following from behind the truck, pulls out two Tanto blades made from Japanese tamahagane steel. Immediately goes on the offensive, jumps eight feet into the air and attacks the first guard from above. Connecting with his sword, being swung from a downward motion, from above his head. With intense blocking strength, Megoon’s blade deflected his attack, bending the weaker metal in his sword and throwing him off balance. Landing on her feet, she dodge rolled the attack of another soldier. From a crouched position she quickly slices his ankle and severing his Achilles tendon. Her ferocity and fighting experience is being recognized by everyone in the area as she jumps upwards, an uppercut attack to the once staggered guard. Slicing him at the neck and decapitating his head from his shoulders. Landing in a crouched position behind the bed of the truck, she was just out of sight of the two archers across the street, while they were shuffling to get a clear shot. She was looking right down the shaft of an arrow, all the way to the beady eyes. Right as he loosed the arrow, she shifts her weight, dodging the arrow, spinning backwards and throwing her blade out like a throwing knife. The tanto blade slid out of her hand like a tomahawk cruise missile impaling the archer right through the sternum of his chest, followed by the other just above the first at the base of his neck. Before his body hit the floor she ran, slid and fired two more arrows into the two archers across the street. Staying her bow and grabbing her tanto blades, pulling them out of his body and stands up slowly looking at Spike. Standing up and looking at Spike, she said, “you should have just let him go.” Spike still clutching his arm and backing up, stumbling and looking at her, he went into shock and fainted. George, the old bar tender, yells at Megoon while pointing up in the sky, “the red flare, run!”
