Mr. Mills continued to smile his toothy 'shark smile' as he handed each of those five a sealed envelope. It didn't surprise me at all when, almost as one, they tore their envelopes open, reached inside, and extracted the contents, which was a one dollar Canadian Loonie coin.
In a fit of rage Martha, George and Samuel all threw their coin directly at me, cursing as they did so. Keith's reaction was lightening fast, his hand inserting itself in front of my face blocking a coin from hitting me. It bounced onto the table, then rolled onto the floor. For a very brief moment the silly kids song written by Tom Glazer, 'On Top Of Spaghetti' flashed through my head, making me want to check to see if the loonie would roll out the door. I almost started to sing the song out loud,
