Hazel's POV
"What happened? It's midnight" Elliot mumbles and I look at him. His eyes are half closed and I can still see the concern.
"Nothing. Just a text message about an offer with the cable" I made that up but since he is sleepy, he just bought it and nods.
He opens his arms again and I place my phone back on the table to join him. I lay on the bed with my head on his chest and his arms wrapped around me.
Once I hear his steady heart rate and I know he is sleeping, I lift my head up slightly to look at him.
We both came a long way to be like this. From strangers to now being this crazy for each other. It wasn't an easy road and it definitely wasn't just a day or a week thing. It took us both so much time, trust and a whole different path to get till here.
