"You met his wife, Hazel. Trust me when I say this, we need to overcome this together" Elliot whispers softly and kisses my hand.
I know that this small gesture is only to sugar coat whatever he is about to say next. And I also know that that is not going to be pleasant.
"She is Lydia" Elliot finally says and I feel like I am thrown into a mystery room where I opened a random door and someone more random came out of nowhere and punched me.
"If you think this is time to joke then.." I stop mid sentence and look at Josh but he seems pretty serious too.
