Elliot's POV
"Do you even realise I had to look straight at Hazel and lie that I should be leaving her, because I have to do the toy shop thing along with you?" I almost scream at Josh.
"It's fine! Did she buy?" Josh asks back and I glare at him.
"Okay. So now what is it?" I ask him and he tilts his head towards the couch.
We both sit for a while and I know, I need to get back to Hazel. She must be at the office already wondering what took me so late. I know I looked straight at her and made up a lie, but she trusted me and let it slide.
I feel really really bad at this point. When did our lives become this way? We were so happy just couple weeks ago. Everything was very much on point.
