One Night Mistake

Serene's POV

My eyes were still daring in his eyes, not even blinking.

Like, seryoso ba 'to? Birthday nila ngayon ni Aerin at...at...baka minumulto ako! Kami! Oh my goodness!

He waved his hand on my face, kaya nabalik ako sa sarili ko. "Hey, long time no see, Serene," he said, and his hand was still in the air, waiting for me to accept it.

"Multo ka ba?"

Napahalakhak siya sa unang lumabas sa aking bibig. Even the people at our table were still shocked like me! How can he? Ugh.

Ngumisi siya. "Sa tingin mo?" pabalang na sabi nito.

Nakahinga ako kaunti nang maluwag. Okay, buhay ang bwisit. "B-But how?" singit ni Amber.

Nilingon ni Aeron si Amber. "Pinabalik ako ni San Pedro, hindi qualified, eh." sagot niya at ibinalik ang tingin sa akin, ang kamay ay nananatiling nasa ere, hinihintay na tanggapin ko iyon.

"Ay wow, may entrance exam din pala." tangang sabi ni Michael, tumango-tango pa.

He took a quick glance from his hand and returned his look at me. Alangan kong inangat ang aking kanang kamay para tanggapin ang kamay niya.

Aeron adjusted his hand so his and my hand would touch. I almost jumped on his move. His palm was warm, making me believe that he is really alive.

"L-Long time no see, Aeron."

We shook our hands. Ako ang naunang bumitaw at saka tinalikuran na siya. Narinig ko pa ang kanyang mahinang halakhak bago siya umupo sa katapat na upuan ko sa bilog na mesa.

I slid my phone out of my pouch and texted Zero.

To Zero :

Babe, san kaaaaa omg

I immediately received a reply.

From Zero :

I'm with my brother babe, I'll come back later, he needs someone to lean on

Hindi na ako nagreply pagkatapos at saka itinuon na lamang ang pansin sa kasama sa mesa, iniiwasan ang malalalim na tingin sa akin ni Aeron. The f**k, nakakakilabot.

Up until now, I still can't believe that he's alive!

Even Meg, Trixie, and Amber can't look at him! It's just so creepy seeing someone I already saw in a coffin, sitting right in front of you.

Tanging si Michael lang ang medyo nakaka-get over na sa nangyari pero hindi pa rin alis ang ilang.

Aerin was escorted by Kuya Spark to our table. Bagay pa rin talaga! Sayang lang at mukhang wala na sila.

"Ang pretty mo pa rin, Aerin! My gosh! Happy Birthday!" I complimented Aerin when she was already at our table and looked at her dress.

She smiled at me. "And look at that dress! You look sexy especially with that backless dress!" I complimented even more.

I noticed Aeron's right brow arched but I turned my gaze away, looking back at his twin.

"Thank you, Serene. You look pretty too." she smiled.

"Wala pa si Zero?" she asked.

Oo nga, nasaan nga ang lalaking iyon? Baka naman masunog ang baga niya kaka-smoke? Siya lang yata ang kilala kong doktor na naninigarilyo, even if he's aware of what cigarettes can do.

Nagkwentuhan pa kami at ang daming revelations tonight! Like Aerin's pregnant and she just got back with Zero's brother, Kuya Zyver! Plus, they're engaged! Oh gosh. Sana all!

The party was boring, but being with my high school friends made it enjoyable. There's a closing performance by another batch and while others are busy, I'll be the demonyo tonight.

"Babe, club tayo after?" bulong ko kay Zero na nasa tabi ko lamang, nanonood.

He looked at me. "You little demon. I can't, Babe. May duty ako before the medical mission tomorrow. Tumakas lang ako." he answered.

Bigo akong ngumiti. "Okay,"

He caressed my waist, giving me goosebumps. He leaned and whispered on my ear. "Hmm...I'll make it up to you. As much as I want to be demonized by you, I have patients to operate on. You can ask them to join you." he huskily said on my ears and bit it a bit.

"Luh, get a room, dudes." singit ni Aeron na pinapanood pala kami.

Humalakhak si Zero sa kanya. "Inggit ka? Get a girl." asar nito sa kaibigan.

Umirap lamang si Aeron sa amin saka nagpatuloy na sa panonood. I noticed his piercings on his right ear.

I called his name "Aeron,"

Taas-kilay siyang lumingon sa akin, nakangisi kahit hindi naman kangisi-ngisi ang pinapanood na last performance.

"What?" aniya.

Parang umatras ang boses ko nang marinig ko siyang kausapin niya ako. Scenery of him lying down in the coffin crossed my mind. Oh gosh! Ang creepy talaga!

"U-uh, club tayo as after party." sabi ko.

Kumunot ang noo niya at napatingin saglit sa kapatid niya na abala sa pakikipag-text at saka ibinalik ang tingin sa akin.

Napatingin naman sila Amber sa akin dahil sa aking sinabi. "Oh! G!" na-eexcite na sabi ni Amber.

Sumang-ayon si Michael. "Sige lang,"

Tiningnan ko sila Meg at Trix ngunit abala sila sa panonood. Tiningnan ko si Aeron at itinaas ang kilay ko.

"Titingnan ko." maikling sagot ni Aeron.

Natapos ang event at pinauna na naming lumabas ang mga tao para hindi siksikan, lalo na at may kasama kaming maselan ang kalagayan.

When we got out, saka kami nag-usap usap sa parking.

"On-duty ako ng 12, eh. Sorry." pagtanggi ni Zero sa pag-aaya ni Michael sa kanya.

"Kayo, twins? Birthday niyo, sayang naman! Madalang pa tayo sa madalang kung magkita!" ani Michael.

Tumikhim si Aeron at tumingin saglit sa akin. "Ako lang, kung sakali. Hindi pwedeng magpuyat itong kapatid ko, eh." aniya.

I looked at Aerin. She looks like she wanted to go. Mabuti nalang Kuya Zyver was there to save her!

We settled and naunang umalis sila Aerin at natira kami nila Meg dito. "Ano? Convoy?" tanong ni Michael.

I nodded and looked at Zero who's just beside me. "I'll just hop in one of their cars, Babe. The hospital's not along the way." I said.

"No, I can take you there." aniya.

Umiling ako. "No, no, it's fine. Magbibihis ka pa, hindi ba? You need to rest first before going to the hospital. Your patients need you." I answered back.

Kumunot ang noo niya at kalauna'y tumango. "Let them take you home, okay? Don't talk to strangers." he said like I am his daughter.

Humalakhak ako. "Yes, Daddy."

He laughed and angled for a kiss on my lips, and to my nose, then to my forehead and smiled. "Don't drink too much, Serene. I love you." he whispered and left.

I faced my friends who were giving me a teasing look. "Ants!" Michael said and rode his motor.

"Sorry, eto dala ko." aniya.

"Argh, omg, sorry, Serene! I've got a mess on my car! I need to change pa!" paumanhin ni Amber.

Humalakhak ako at saka tiningnan si Meg. "Ugh, sorry, Serene! My car has only two seats, kasabay ko si Trixie kanina!" aniya.

Pucha. Sa multo ba ako makikisabay?

I looked at Aeron. He raised his eyebrow when he saw me looking at him. "Well, my car seats are vacant." nagkibit-balikat siya.

"Tara na nga." I hissed.

Tumalikod na si Aeron at saka nagsimulang maglakad. Sinundan ko siya at tumigil siya sa isang SUV, marami ngang vacant.

I opened the back seat, making him look at me. "Ay, driver na pala ako." aniya.

Umiwas ako ng tingin, creeped. "Oh my ghost, stop talking to me. Huhu. I feel like I am talking to a ghost." I said.

"Psh. Buhay ako, Serene." aniya, naiiling.

"Whatever! Can you get out first? I'm going to remove a part of my dress." pakiusap ko.

Tumaas ang kilay niya. "Malamok sa labas. Can I just close my eyes?" tanong niya.

Umirap ako. "Malamok, my ass."

Humalakhak siya. "Wala ka namang puwet." aniya.

Akma ko siyang sasapukin pero ipinikit niya na ang kanyang mga mata kaya wala akong nagawa kundi ayusin ang suot ko. I removed the second layer and ang natira na lang ay nagsilbing short dress.

I brushed my curly hair using my fingers so it would turn into big waves and took my perfume from my pouch and sprayed it on the air.

"Ang tapang naman niyan!" reklamo ni Aeron at napaubo pa.

My eyes widened. "Oh my ghost, are you allergic to perfumes ba?" I asked and opened the window.

"Hindi, ang baho lang ng sobrang tapang na pabango." aniya, nananatiling nakapikit nang makita ko ang mga mata niya sa rear view mirror.

"Hey, you can open your eyes na. I'm done." I said.

I closed the window and opened the door. "Saan ka pupunta?" tanong niya sa akin nang bumaba ako.

Nagtaas ako ng kilay. "Sa harap, duh."

Suminghap lang siya saka napailing. I opened the shotgun seat's door and sat comfortably.

Hindi na siya nagsalita pa, ganoon na rin ang ginawa ko. "I'll turn the music on." sambit niya when he realized how awkward the silence is.

Tumango lang ako at saka tiningnan ang dinadaanan.

"How are you alive?" I curiously asked when it came to my mind suddenly, leaving my gaze to the road.

He glanced at me. "Long explanation."

"Wow ha, nice talking." I sarcastically said.

Aeron also sarcastically smiled. "Thanks."

Hindi na ako gumawa pa ng kahit anong paraan para makausap siya at hinayaan na lang ang musika ang magtanggal ng nakakabinging katahimikan sa loob ng sasakyan.

It was around eleven in the evening when we arrived at the club. It's not in our town so we had to hop by the other town just to do clubbing.

Michael had already reserved a table for us, and I am so excited kasi easy access sa crowd, mas easy access sa new friends!

The sound of trap music was audible on my ears as soon as I entered the club. Smoke touched my skin and party-goers stared at my red sparkly dress.

Aeron let me in first because he needs to park somewhere pa.

"Hi, Miss." the man in a black shirt winked at me, then smirked.

Ew.

I looked at him disgustingly and passed by. "Wait, I am talking to you." he grabbed my arm.

What the. I glared at him and tried taking my arms off his filthy hands, but he tightened it.

"Do you have a death wish?"

Sabay kaming napalingon ng lalaki sa nagsalita. Aeron was glaring at him. No. He wasn't.

Madilim ang matang tiningnan ni Aeron ang lalaki. The man loosened the grip when he saw Aeron. "What the f**k! Aeron? s**t, you're alive?" hindi makapaniwalang sabi ng lalaki sa kanya.

Hindi siya sumagot. Instead, he threw his gaze at me and, there, he held my waist and dragged me to our reserved table.

"Ayos ka lang?" tanong ni Aeron nang umupo kami sa sofa.

Tumango ako. "Kilala mo yun?"

He shook his head and licked his lower lip. "Hindi. Kilala lang niya ako." sagot niya and unclasped a button of his dress shirt, revealing his chest more.

Wala na yung blazer niya ngayon at mukha siyang galing opisina dahil sa kanyang suot. Naalala ko na naman ang kanyang suot noong nakahiga siya sa kabaong. He was also wearing a black suit on his funeral!

Since this is one of Zyriel's night clubs, madali kaming nakakuha ng lamesa at ang alak ay nakalatag na sa lamesa pagkarating namin. Thanks to him, though.

Isa-isang naupo at nanood sa mga tao sila Amber nang makarating sila sa amin. Iba na ang suot nila at mukhang nakapagpalit na sila bago pa man pumunta rito.

Pinakahuling dumating ay sila Aerin at Kuya Zyver. She didn't look like a pregnant woman in her outfit, pero halatang may nakakuha na, with just Kuya Zyver's moves around her.

Nagkwentuhan muna kami habang umiinom ng alak. We ordered a milkshake for Aerin because she can't drink, and she can't get drunk dahil lagot kami kay Aeron at kay Kuya Zyver.

I consider this a long night. I haven't seen them for years. Well, except for Amber. But I am still thankful that our closeness didn't fade away.

My ass was tipsy when I stood up. The crowd is already wild when I dragged my friends to the dance floor, even Aerin.

"Huy, lasing na kayo! Tara na, uwi na tayo." pakiusap ni Aerin but all I did was laugh and drag her to the dance floor.

I dragged Amber with her, but she is now nowhere to be found. I was so disturbed by my fun that Aerin suddenly lost my hand. Oh my! Lagot ako sa fiancée niya!

My body followed the rhythm of the music and didn't care if I am already bumping other people's body.

I thought I was tipsy. Drunk na pala. Hehe. I'm gonna be scolded by Zero nyan, oh my.

My eyesight was poor and it looks like I am already going to pass out because I feel the dizziness already, but still, I continued dancing and shaking my head.

There I felt someone dancing at my back, trying to follow my rhythm. "Gorgeous." I heard the man's compliment.

I chuckled and faced his body, continuing my wala sa tonong dance, cannot think properly already. I had so much hard liquors!

The man encircled his arms on my waist and swayed me down. I don't know him, though.

I didn't know what happened next and I just felt his soft lips on mine. I kissed back and encircled my arms on his neck, deepening the kiss.

"Mmm..." I muttered when he sucked my lip.

His arms pulled me even more to him just to deepen the kiss. He's great!

"Uhh...Zero." I mumbled when his kiss went down to my jaw, then to my neck, leaving marks.

I stopped when I realized I was not into my senses and removed my arms from him. But his face remained silhouette because of the lights up above him.

His style is the same as Zero and his height is totally the same as Zero, though.

Baka he fetched me!

I giggled and tiptoed to kiss him again. "Hmm, not here." he muttered in between his kisses, tasting every bit of my mouth.

We were both panting when we removed our lips from each other. He dragged me out of the dancefloor and brought me somewhere silent.

My drunk ass did was just too laugh and let him drag me. We entered a car and he started driving so fast.

"You like this?" I was kissing his cheeks with my eyes, half-closed, while he was driving.

He stopped by a dead end road, wherein there is a tree house built on the middle. The car was left open as soon as he carried me out of the car and slammed me on the side of the car for support while my legs are on his waist.

His kisses went down, and down, and down, until it reached my chest. He adjusted for a bit, now with only one hand. His other hand went inside my short dress. His calloused hand played around my breast, squeezing it, even though there was a foam in between.

"Oh, Zero." I mumbled when I felt something inside me build up.

He carried me and walked to the tree house. He laid me down on the stairs, not leaving my lips, while his hands were slowly unclasping my bra. He threw it everywhere. As soon as he finally removed it while me, I was almost removing his hair because my hands were holding his hair so tight.

He ripped my thin dress off, giving him more access to my body.

Now, I am only left with my lower underwear, with nothing more.

My eyes were half asleep when I looked at him. I giggled when I saw his dark hooded eyes stare at my body.

He was kneeling down when he continued kissing me. Now, he was on my chest. His mouth was on my left chest, moisting it with his tongue, while his hand was playing with my other chest.

I was panting heavily when I felt his other hand go down, teasing it. "Oh my." I almost screamed when he played on it, now feeling the wetness down there.

"Shh," he chuckled in between his kisses.

I was too pleasured that I didn't realize that his lips were already on my abdomen. He stopped when he saw my reaction and stood up.

He carried me bridal style and went inside the tree house.

The next thing I knew, we were in a bed, continuing what we stopped doing just a few seconds ago.

My hands went down on his slacks, feeling the bulge.

Hindi naman ito ang unang beses namin ni Zero so I think I can handle it. But it seemed bigger tonight, though.

He removed his clothes and left just only the boxers. I was the one who removed his boxers, his shaft sprung out fully.

It was dark, but I can see his eyes staring at me and my body. He was staring at me but his hands were the one working down there.

He removed my last underwear and didn't inform me that he was going to insert two fingers at a time! I screamed.

His fingers moved inside fast while I can feel that he's watching my reaction. "Oh my, Zero." I tried to call him out but it came out different.

I heard his small chuckle before letting his lips touch mine while his fingers were inside.

"Ah!" I screamed when I felt my released.

His mouth gracefully accepted my release and swallowed it, then licked his lips.

I was about to talk when he made me turn around and bend over, his, positioning already.

"Hey wai- Ah!" he slammed behind, his hand on my back.

"Oh," I heard him.

I screamed in pleasure when he slammed inside fastly, like there's no tomorrow. Oh my goodness!

He moved inside faster and faster, hitting the spot. His moves became sloppy when I already felt I am near.

We both screamed in pleasure when we both released at the same time. He filled me to the brim with his liquid and removed his inside me.

Sabay kaming bumagsak sa kama, pagod na pagod at hinihingal pa.

I faced him and was about to give a kiss even though I am tired. My smile faded.

He is not Zero.
