Alejandro drove so fast up the road toward the strip club he skidded on ice and held his breath as his truck came to a sliding stop. Ellen arrived at a more sensible speed less than a minute behind.
They hurriedly left their vehicles and hustled to the front entrance.
Pulling out their handguns, they rapped on the door and stepped to the side in case the perps tried to spray them with bullets through the door.
From start to finish, the case had taken less than two months to resolve but for Alejandro who was so in love with Laurie, it was way too long and he practically salivated in his urgency to send these monsters to prison and help release the women.
They rapped on the door again.
