Jamaica was a paradise. Breathing deeply of the sea salt air tinged with the delicious aroma of jerk chicken being barbequed on the warm beach, Laurie nestled her toes deeper into the sand and watched with delight as a small hermit crab poked out its head and sped over the dunes.
“Happy?" Alejandro murmured, sitting next to her on the blanket. He draped a muscular arm around her waist.
“Mmm hmm," she replied, so relaxed she didn't feel like forming words.
